Thank you for visiting my website. I specialize in realistic, Western landscapes. My artwork features views from Big Bend, Texas and the West. To me, I like to paint what I see; to represent the time, place and generation I live in. I prefer to document the world as I experience it just as it is, now in this moment in time. When I am researching a painting, I naturally gravitate towards contrast. Contrast of near or far, light and shadow, or bright and muted, is a consistent theme in my work. I love open spaces, where you can see distant mountains or shores and wonder how far away they are. I like to paint the fleeting effects of sunlight that come and go too quickly to fully appreciate the beauty they reveal.

Latest Work - I've posted my latest series from  the Grand Canyon as well as pieces from Zion National Park here. Additionally, I have some works from Palo Duro, Big Bend, Utah, and the Pecos here. Above is one of my latest entries that sold at the Great Works, Small Wonders show in the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City.

Texas Landscapes - Features my works from Big Bend, the Devil's River area, and the Texas Hill Country. 

Western Landscapes - Features Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Utah, San Francisco, Grand Canyon, Taos, and Colorado.
