Dennis Farris Biography

My name is Dennis Farris and I am a landscape artist. I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating with an art degree from Central Missouri State University, I moved to Fort Worth, Texas and began my career as a freelance illustrator. During this time, I honed my skills as a painter; experimenting with various subjects, styles and techniques. It was not until I began studying The Hudson River School of artists that I discovered my passion for realistic landscapes. My work focuses on the grandeur and atmosphere of the Texas and Western landscape.
