ViVi's Visit - Part 1
by ViVi Farris on 2/23/2010 11:32:48 PM

Hi Everyone,

I’m ViVi, Dennis’ wife. It’s very hard to put into words what a privilege it was to see Zion from the perspective of the artist in residence. I thought it might be best I just show you what Dennis sees outside his window every day…

I included the Grotto’s roofline in this last photo as a reminder of how close you are to everything staying there. What an amazing opportunity!

More later!

Great photos ViVi! So great that you were able to visit Dennis and share his experience. You are the reason that Dennis is the "artist in residence" at Zion so we "Thank You" for allowing us to share this experience too!

Hey Dennis and ViVi! Wow what amazing pictures and stories this blog tells. I'm so thrilled for you both. Such unreal scenery, and what a fantastic opportunity to capture it all . . . I can't wait to see in person the masterpieces that emerge from this journey.

Happy painting Dennis! I'm following you online :-)

Best to you both -

Great idea, to show how fast the colors change outside that window. Take your pick of flavors. Beautiful stuff.

Perhaps I'm just getting used to being snowed in here, but I'm rather fond of the postings of the park with snow. Something I've never seen before since most vacations are in the summertime. And it must be doubly quiet there with snow. Glad you were able to see it with Dennis.
