I've been looking at Kolob Canyon on a map now for several days, hoping you would have a chance to get over to area. Figured they make a less fuss over there,(less touristy) and it would be spectacular. Looks like it is. It even looks bigger, and much more of a remote area, than what you had shown us yet. Its like Zion Park, where you have been, is like the polished, shining jewel of them all. I think I would have to do some exploring over in Kolob Canyon. Your link to there, is some good reading, and would be worth learning how to climb with ropes, correctly. Somehow before I am done here, I want to go thru that country. Late Spring, or early Summer. Have no desire for the cold. Would be nice to go out there, and disappear; for a while. Plenty of hiking to do, and, at ones own pace. A shame its going to rain tomorrow, as I'm sure there is more on your list. Any desire to float thru the Grand Canyon on a raft yet? Been on my list for years.
